We have to wait until July to see model/actress turned actress/model Cara Delevingne's first starring film role in the big screen-adaptation of John Green's novel Paper Towns, but the wait has been made a bit more bearable thanks a generous sneak peek via the flick's first official trailer.
Delevingne plays the part of Margo Roth Spiegelman, the beautiful and mysterious girl next door — who suddenly disappears. Something else that's disappeared? Her London accent.
It's quite bizarre to see Delevingne speaking in an American accent, but kudos to her for diving into it while also tackling more acting than ever before. She and co-star Nat Wolff — who has made charming appearances in "The Fault in Our Stars" and "Stuck in Love" — seem to have pretty good chemistry. Here's hoping the film maintains the magic of the novel for Green fans this summer.
