There are few better ways to sell clothing than by getting a celebrity to wear it — say, on a highly visible press tour where her picture will be taken everywhere and published by numerous websites and celebrity weeklies. Blake Lively knows this, and decided to use her own influence to promote her e-commerce site, Preserve. The famously self-styled star began wearing pieces from the site during her pregnancy while walking the streets of New York, but now she's mixing business with, well, business by incorporating Preserve inventory into the press tour for her new movie, "Age of Adaline."
She's been changing outfits at a breakneck pace, often putting on different looks just to enter and exit venues. While the majority of her wardrobe is from luxury designers like Balmain, Valentino, Marc Jacobs and Roskanda, she's worn three Preserve looks so far, exclusively for daytime television appearances.
She arrived at the studio on Tuesday for a segment on "Live! With Kelly And Michael" in a hot pink wrap dress and changed into a tropical strapless jumpsuit for the actual appearance on air. On Wednesday, she wore a long floral halter dress to cook with chef Mario Batali on "The Chew." Lively must have figured that fans of these shows might be into Preserve's handmade and vintage-inspired clothing, home and kitchen goods.
