It's time mark your calendars. On Wednesday, May 20, we're hosting our third-ever New York City meetup with designer (and former Fashionista columnist) Chris Benz to discuss his fascinating career, from interning at Marc Jacobs to his new role as creative director of the iconic American clothing label Bill Blass.

A Seattle native and Parsons alum, Benz began his career designing womenswear at J.Crew and then launched an eponymous clothing label in 2007 that we loved (and miss) for its colorful subversiveness. In 2016, Benz will be reintroducing the Bill Blass brand for a modern customer, and I personally can't wait to hear more about his vision for the label. He is also very funny on Twitter.

The meetup will take place at Space 530 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 (that includes snacks and drinks by Brooklyn Gin) and you can get them here. And like I said, you should do that now: There are only 75 tickets available and tickets for our last meetup sold out in one day.
