Remember jellies? The shoes you obsessed over in grade school — usually clear with silver specks of glitter — that relentlessly blistered your feet and made them sweaty and smelly by the end of the day?
Despite the fact that they sound terrible, the truth remains that we have a nostalgic blind spot when it comes to fashion that recalls our youth — and for me, these jellies are the epitome of that. At the original retail price, these fluoro sandals by Sophia Webster were too eccentric for me to pick up. But now that they're on sale at the Outnet, they seem a lot more reasonable, and perfect for pairing with denim cutoffs and a grown up icy drink at the park. They may not be the most sophisticated of footwear choices, but, dammit, fashion should be fun sometimes too.
