This may be the key sign that I have a shopping problem, but when I dropped by the Artizia's Soho store to preview the retailer's fall collection earlier this week, I could not leave the store without buying something.
An editor friend and I both spotted this simple criss-cross back dress on a rack near the entrance and beelined towards it — it's the kind of summer staple that I can see myself throwing on day after steamy day. It's low-key enough for a day of lounging around in Washington Square Park, roomy enough to wear for a sunny day of pigging out at Smorgasburg and just dressy enough for a summertime date night with my man.
The possibilities are endless — good thing it comes in a couple of colors so I can stock up.
Wilfred "Hymne" dress, $145, available at Aritzia.
