Kim Kardashian's Met Gala Gown Is Eerily Similar to Beyoncé's in 2012

When Kim Kardashian hit the Met Gala red carpet wearing Peter Dundas's first design since returning to Roberto Cavalli, we were struck with a sudden — and major — sense of déjà vu.

That's because Beyoncé rocked an eerily similar look at the Met Gala in 2012, the year before Kardashian first attended the event. From the sheer body with strategic sparkles down to the dramatic feathered train, Kardashian's white design is a total twin to Beyoncé's jaw-dropping Givenchy gown.

So even though husband Kanye West says that Kim K inspires Bey, this is one look where clearly it went the other way around.
Update: In an Instagram post later that evening, Kardashian credited Cher's first Met Gala look for inspiring her dress; clearly there is a resemblance there, too. The pair also posed for a selfie.
