Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs Have an Announcement: You're Basic

Here's how these two do Thursday night.

After joining Instagram but two months ago, Marc Jacobs is apparently getting very into Internet culture. On Thursday night, the designer posted a clip of himself and Kate Moss recreating teen YouTube star Lohanthony's delightful, leg-twirling video from 2012 titled, "Calling All the Basic Bitches." It has 2.8 million views to date. You may have seen it.

We can only assume Moss and Jacobs's video is the result of that thing where you get really silly with your friends while watching YouTube videos on the couch. Famous fashion people are truly just like us.

Lohanthony, for his part, was pretty thrilled about it. The teen (real name: Anthony Quintal) took to his own Instagram to say that he doesn't know how he's still breathing because he is #HONORED.

And that's your morning news brief on the state of social media, teens and Marc Jacobs. Enjoy your Friday.
