A Public Relations Firm Is Hiring A Digital Coordinator In NYC
Our client, a public relations firm, is seeking a Digital Coordinator. This person will be responsible for developing and executing strategy and content creation for the company’s social media channels while providing day-to-day support to the digital team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable for social media strategy and content creation across all current agency social platforms
- Manage and interact with each social network on a daily basis to keep communities engaged
- Aid with day-to-day blogger, online influencer and dot com editor outreach – product, trend, news, and feature pitching, listings, launches
- Help coordinate short lead events, branding campaigns and paid activations
- Provide support for agency events and fashion week shows
- Scan for social and digital placements daily
- Monitor and advise on trends in new social media platforms and technologies
- Monitor and advise on relevant fashion and industry news daily
- Provide administrative support for digital team
Job Requirements:
Recommended Articles
- College degree in public relations, marketing, or related field
- 1-2 years fashion and/or public relations experience with proven experience in the digital sphere
- Deep knowledge of, and participation in, different social media platforms
- Deep knowledge of the fashion digital media space – blogger, online influencer and dot com
- Ability to multi task, work independently and within a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to succeed in fast-paced environment
- Adept understanding of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Photoshop
