Andreja Pejic's Debut Make Up For Ever Campaign Video Is Here

The boundary-breaking transgender model poses alongside actress Jamie Chung for the beauty brand's new social campaign, "Be You."

Andreja Pejic's star is continuing to rise. After undergoing gender confirmation surgery last July, the 23-year-old model raised more than $63,000 on Kickstarter to fund a documentary about her life. She made her runway debut for Giles during London Fashion Week as a transitioned woman in February, and just three months ago, Make Up For Ever announced she had landed a history-making commercial contract with the cosmetics brand.

While Make Up For Ever first teased Pejic's debut "Be You" campaign video on Instagram last month, it is finally here in full. She poses alongside actress Jaime Chung in a number of different beauty looks to highlight diversity, as well as makeup's transformative properties. Flashing between a punchy red lip and glittery disco eyes in seconds, Pejic hums in a voiceover that her involvement in the campaign represents "pushing boundaries in a positive way."

Throughout the video, Pejic looks as strong as she does glamorous, as empowered as she does sensual. And after all, isn't that what beauty ads — especially commercial ones — are all about? We can't wait to see what else Pejic and Make Up For Ever have up their sleeves.
