Berlin Fashion Week Street Style Was About Easy Shapes and Complex Patterns
What can one infer about the Berlin fashion community from looking at the city's fashion week attendees? First of all, the crowd puts a premium on comfort. Loose-fitting silhouettes abounded — pants were wide legged or drop-crotched and dresses were A-line or flowey. The easy shapes, however, were canvasses for some head-to-toe prints, in florals, fruits and black and white graphic stripes. Clearly the theme in the German capital last week was balanced boldness. Not too minimal, not too wild — just Berlin.
