You may have noticed that we followed Lily James's fashion choices very closely during her press tour for "Cinderella" — and that we were quite fond of the whole princess-y, high glamour aesthetic that she and her stylist went for. But now, it's time that the 26-year-old actress retires her ball gowns and Disney-appropriate ensembles in favor of pieces that are a bit more grown up, and so far, we're liking what we're seeing.
James, who's returned to her natural shade of brunette, attended Entertainment Weekly’s annual Comic-Con Party on Sunday night wearing a slinky, glittering dress from the fall 2015 Altuzarra collection, and we all swooned when we saw her. Altuzarra's lightweight finale dresses were a major highlight of the show, and celebrities like Emma Stone and Naomi Watts have already stepped out wearing them. The look has just the right amount of sex appeal, and since the dress is covered in delicate gold beading, it didn't need much in terms of accessories — just some dainty rings and a bracelet. We like how James's dark hair is pulled back to show off her long neck, and our only wish is that she'd styled the dress with a pair of those wild, thigh-high lace-up boots from the Altuzarra runway.
