While it was Rachel Zoe's mid-2000s celebrity clientele — Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, Linsday Lohan, Keira Knightley — that helped her rise to fame, it was her hit Bravo reality show, "The Rachel Zoe Project," that really made her a household name outside the fashion industry. While the deliciously dramatic show went off the air in 2013, Zoe has kept busy, with ventures like The Zoe Report, her eponymous clothing line and plenty of brand ambassadorships. We'll admit, we've still missed her signature Zoe-isms ("I die," "ba-na-nas"), but it looks like they might be entering the collective consciousness again very soon.
As first reported by Variety, Zoe will head back to the small screen on Sept. 24, with a new late-night talk show on Lifetime called "Fashionably Late With Rachel Zoe." The weekly program, which has been initially cleared for an eight-episode run, will be filmed at her Melrose Avenue headquarters in Los Angeles and see her discussing current happenings in fashion, beauty and pop culture (which, honestly, sounds like every other fashion talk show that's ever existed — including Kristin Cavallari's).
What could make Zoe's program really stand out is her roster of in-the-know celebrity clients and fashion friends, namely Harper's Bazaar Editor-at-Large Derek Blasberg, who will frequently join her on the show. Whether or not you're a fan of her previous foray into television, we suggest giving this new show a watch for their witty banter alone — and for the prospect of a J. Law appearance.
