Alexa Chung for AG is back for round two with a new fall 2015 collection set to hit stores and online Thursday — and unless shoppers have tired of her vintage-inspired denim designs, stores will have a hard time keeping it in stock.
The late '60s/early '70s aesthetic continues, but with a western vibe. “The first collection was very focused and stripped back, I challenged myself to create an essential denim wardrobe," said Chung in a release. "With the second collection it was more about exploring where else we could take it.” This time she was inspired by an imaginary girl gang traveling across the desert. The denim romper she wears in one of the campaign images fits that vision perfectly.
In addition to rereleasing the A-line skirts lined with buttons and loose denim dresses that were so popular from the first collection, Chung added some pieces for cooler temperatures like a corduroy fitted vest, wool mock neck sweaters and suede skirts. There's also a t-shirt featuring an image of Chung wearing a shirt that says "FEMINIST," in case you want a more literal piece of her in your wardrobe. Prices range from $98 to $1,248.
The fall 2015 collection is trickling into U.S. retailers now; brick and mortar stores with e-commerce will also sell the collection online.
