See the Full Adam Lippes for Target Lookbook
With temperatures in New York dipping into the 60s, we at Fashionista are declaring ourselves officially, verifiably and dramatically over summer (or I am, anyway). With Fashion Week a mere three weeks away, it's nearly time to embrace turtlenecks with open arms and banish gauzy, backless dresses to the backs of our closets — at least mentally, until the weather decides to abandon the heat altogether.
As though someone was able to read our minds, the lookbook for Target's latest collaboration with designer Adam Lippes just arrived in our inbox, and it couldn't be more autumn-friendly. Loaded with heaps of coats, knitwear and heavy tops, this is a collection that's clearly catering to fall.
If plaid's not your thing, you may not be too pleased to find that most of the pieces — save for some blouses and drapey trousers — are decked out in a chunky Buffalo check. But with 50 items to choose from across women's, men's, accessories, shoes and home décor, the range is stocked with enough cool-weather staples to appease everyone. The collaboration, which ranges in price from $1.50 to $129.99, drops Sept. 27.
