I will admit, I'm not entirely familiar with Holland Roden's sartorial repertoire. While the crimson-haired starlet, 28, has been hitting the red carpet quite heavily since "Teen Wolf" premiered in 2011, this Texas native has a style that appears to be far more sophisticated than that of her 17-year-old MTV character. In fact, it's Roden's most recent look that has me wondering whether I should be paying closer attention to her red carpet track record altogether.
At the Los Angeles premiere of "She's Funny That Way" on Wednesday night, Roden arrived in a predictably fantastic dress by Self-Portrait — better known as the affordable, London-based label that's been cropping up consistently all summer on the likes of Rachel McAdams, Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. With the brand's signature peek-a-boo lace, a ladylike collar and the somewhat suggestive mesh paneling, this frock proved to be an easy way for Roden to look like a bona fide fashion star.
Can we also discuss how great it is that she coordinated the bright, rich wine shade of this dress with her hair? It was stellar, and something I'd love to see her fellow redheaded actresses doing more of in the future.
