It's been three months since Mango first announced that it had tapped the dynamic "It" Brit duo of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne as the faces of its fall 2015 campaign — and in that time, the supermodel pairing has kept busy. While Moss made an educational home video with Marc Jacobs, Delevingne spent her summer being a bona fide Hollywood starlet, all while shutting down decidedly rude morning television anchors, too. The two have kept us so preoccupied, in fact, that we nearly forgot there was a full-blown Mango campaign to look forward to in the first place.
Our patience was rewarded on Monday afternoon when the Spanish retailer revealed the full set of ads, which are everything we could have hoped for. Photographed by Inez and Vinoodh, the images feature both Moss and Delevingne — who starred together in the My Burberry fragrance campaign last year — decked out in a myriad of '70s pieces and looking every bit the Penny Lane copycat. Where Moss sports a fringed poncho and flared jeans, Delevingne pouts in floaty florals and on-trend pussybow blouses.
Whether it's their shared wild child sensibilities or layered blonde hair, Mango's whole Bohemian shtick fits both Moss and Delevingne perfectly — not to mention that it's almost refreshing to see Delevingne back in front of a camera, rather than exercising her acting chops. Despite spending much of this summer bashing the fashion industry altogether, she is, of course, an outstanding model with an affinity for commercial work.
