Leave it to Alexa Chung, style guru/documentarian/tech entrepreneur, to brave a rainy morning in Milan wearing none other than fashion month's favorite Gucci loafer mules. (They were an especially huge hit at New York Fashion Week.) Chung sat front row at the Gucci spring 2016 show wearing said furry footwear, a crisp white shirtdress with pleated trim and a floral embellishment and a tailored wool coat.
Chung has a formula when it comes to her aesthetic: '60s silhouettes, menswear-inspired and quintessentially British. While wearing fuzzy, street-style-worthy flats, she successfully managed to stick to the same system. And because she can pretty much do whatever she wants when it comes to dressing up, sleeves aren't an option. Chung dismisses armholes to drape her coat over her shoulders in pure fashion editor form, and although we admittedly find this annoying, she still made for the best dressed lady at the show.
