Louis Vuitton may bank on a "spirit of travel" brand message, but Chanel is giving its fellow French luxury brand a run for its money with its spring 2016 collection. The airport-themed show took place Tuesday morning on a fully realized "Chanel Airlines" terminal/set — and one big way in which Karl Lagerfeld translated that theme was through accessories.
There was Chanel-branded luggage perfect for those who want to proudly (and chicly) display their wealth, functional-looking carry-ons, backpacks adorned with airplane-shaped pins, snapbacks for covering up your plane hair, oversized sunnies for hiding your gross, un-made up face, comfortable-looking Birkenstock-inspired sandals (worn with socks) and even adorable little chain-strap bags shaped like miniature suitcases. If you want a distinctive, recognizable piece from this collection, you should spend all your money on one (or more) of these accessories.
Here's hoping someone ends up in street style rolling one of the suitcases.
