Maria's Skull-Printed Silk Square Scarf

Skulls Silk Foulard Square Scarf, $195, available at Coach
Ever since the Olsen twins were photographed with Alexander McQueen skull-print scarves, I've been in love with the morbid motif. And while my apartment has become home to a growing collection of skull-shaped objets, my wardrobe isn't exactly stocked with the anatomical print. That, however, changed once I spotted this Coach silk square scarf from the brand's fall 2015 collection.
The petite skull pattern is somewhat subtle, with a nod to Takashi Murakami's signature skull work, so I don't give off too much of a goth vibe. (That's in addition to my usually all-black-everything ensemble.) Every time I wear this scarf, I instantly feel like a bad girl — channeling my inner Lexi Boling, if you will. All I need is a girl gang, so we can wear matching leather jackets and personalized button pins.
