Amazon to more than double its workforce for the holidays
For its busiest quarter of the year, Amazon Inc. will be hiring 100,000 seasonal workers, a 25% increase from last year. Analysts expect Amazon to generate around $35.1 billion in fourth-quarter revenue this year. Its seasonal workers will supplement the company's 90,000 permanent warehouse and shipping hub employees, meaning its overall workforce will more than double. {Bloomberg Business

Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso considers launching a Girlboss media site 
On Monday, Sophia Amoruso tweeted: "Is it cray to do a Kickstarter to launch Girlboss as a media site?" Well, not really. Amoruso has a book and  foundation (which gives grants to female entrepreneurs) with the same name and is expected to launch #Girlboss Radio on Oct. 22. The question is, does she really need Kickstarter to do this? {WWD}
