Rihanna and Cara Delevingne will be co-stars
On Wednesday, filmmaker Luc Besson announced on Instagram that Rihanna would be joining the cast of "Valerian," a big-budget movie about humanity in the 28th century. Rihanna will be joining previously announced cast members Cara Delevingne and Clive Owens. Filming will commence next January in Besson's studio on the outskirts of Paris. {Variety}

Caitlyn Jenner named one of Glamour's Women of the Year
Caitlyn Jenner has been named one of Glamour's Women of the Year and will be honored at the magazine's 25th Anniversary Women of the Year Awards. The event will take place Nov. 9th at Carnegie Hall and will recognize Victoria Beckham, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Holmes, Cecile Richards, Reese Witherspoon, members of the US women's national soccer team and the women of Charleston. {Glamour}

Joyce Green named Chanel's executive vice president of fashion 
Chanel has promoted Joyce Green to the position of executive vice president of fashion. Green, who previously held senior-level posts at Kiehl's, Clarins and Guerlain, joined the French label in 2007. Most recently, she worked as Chanel's senior vice president of multi-brand retail in the fashion division, and she succeeds Barbara Cirkva, currently the company's president of fashion. {WWD
