Eyeshadow is something I often avoid, because for me it presents so many questions: What shade is most flattering? Should I use cream or powder? Should I use a different shade in the crease? Where's the crease?
I also typically aim for a sort of no makeup-makeup look and have never been quite sure how to achieve that with eyeshadow. Luckily, Benefit has once again rescued me from all this uncertainty. The brand's World Famous Neutrals kit in "easiest nudes ever" may be a little cheesy, but it's also very useful. Not only does it include four powders and two cream shadows, but it also opens up to reveal a mirror and an attached pamphlet with detailed instructions for a day and a nighttime look.
I've been using it pretty regularly since I got it, adding just a hint of shimmer and depth to my eyes. I can attest that it's very easy to use, and I'm pretty sure I don't look silly. As far as I know.
Benefit Cosmetics World Famous Neutrals in Easiest Nudes Ever, $30, available at Sephora.
