Dear readers, you know how much we love reporting on the current state of editorial musical chairs, and come Jan. 1, the senior staff at Fashionista will undergo some changes of its own.

Editor-in-Chief Lauren Indvik, who's led and grown the site for the past two years, will be moving into the editor-at-large position, where she'll be writing twice-weekly features, putting together our annual Fashionista 50 list and school rankings, and spearheading our "How to Make It in Fashion" conferences and meet-ups. (And since she lives less than a block away, we have a feeling she's still going to be hanging around the office. A lot.)

Two familiar faces will be teaming up to fill her role: Alyssa Vingan Klein and Dhani Mau, Fashionista's senior editors, will serve as co-editorial directors in the new year. If you're a longtime reader, you may already know that both editors started their careers as interns during the site's early days — Alyssa first joined the team in 2009, and Dhani in 2010 — so it's not much of an exaggeration to say that they live and breathe all things Fashionista.
