The Fashion Flock's Best Halloween Costumes
Women usually have two options on Halloween — ultra sexy or definitively unsexy. But much to everyone's surprise, our favorite models decided not to hide their genetically perfect bodies this weekend in frumpy costumes, and instead put a sexy spin on devils, skeletons and other typical Halloween fare. The most popular costumes, however, were fictional characters made popular in the '80s and '90s. Andreja Pejic channeled a sultry Michelle Pfeiffer in "Scarface," Heidi Klum went full prosthetics to dress as Jessica Rabbit, Poppy Delevingne dressed as Harley Quinn and Langley Fox was a spot-on Ziggy Stardust David Bowie — to name a few.
Then there are, of course, the less identifiable costumes: Suki and Immy Waterhouse went as what looked like sexy cowboy/schoolgirls, Sara Sampaio confessed to cobbling together leftover Burning Man costumes and Binx Walton opted for a tight jumpsuit with a side of fierce attitude. Fair enough — and certainly less cringe-worthy than Stella Maxwell's sexualized baby costume. Kendall Jenner dressed as a sexy Karl Lagerfeld — a leggy version of the designer we didn't know was possible and cannot ever unsee.
But two of the best costumes, required the least amount of work. Marketing machine Kim Kardashian dressed as — who else?! — herself, with her infamous floral Givenchy dress from the 2013 Met Gala, when she was pregnant with her first child. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and there's no doubt Kardashian is smitten with herself. And finally, Dakota Johnson won a place in our hearts by eschewing anything tight or revealing (we've already seen her look pretty sexy, to be fair) and instead donned Steve Jobs's uniform of a black mock neck sweater, blue jeans and sneakers and carried a hair dryer for a costume she simply called "Blow Jobs." We're not blowing just hot air — she was our favorite of the night.
