It's no exaggeration that "The Hunger Games" star and award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most highly anticipated arrivals on any red carpet. Up until this past spring, the actress turned to stylist Rachel Zoe for her many Dior-clad public appearances.
But when styling duo Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson left Zoe's team in March to strike out on their own, it appears that Lawrence followed. As noticed by The Hollywood Reporter, Lincoln and Johnson set up an Instagram account for their new business in May, and their first post was of Lawrence the night of The Met Gala — where she was one of event's hosts — attending an after-party in a silver Galvan dress. A source close to the stylists confirmed they are currently working with her.
Lawrence had just a few public appearances this summer, but that's all changing now: the actress kicked off a global press tour on Wednesday in Berlin to promote the last film in her famous franchise. The Dior campaign star wore a plum-colored gown from the French house, featuring a super-deep neckline and cutaway sleeves which, we'll admit, was a bit more stately and severe than we would have liked to see her wearing to start off the excitement. But this is only the first of many red carpets for Lawrence until the movie premieres Nov. 20, and then she'll be busy promoting her latest David O. Russell film, "Joy," which comes out in December. If the actress is sticking with Lincoln and Johnson, they certainly have their work cut out for them before awards season.
Lawrence isn't the only big name star to leave Zoe and follow the duo: According to their Instagram account, Lincoln and Johnson styled Kiernan Shipka for "Mad Men" finale-related appearances and the Emmy Awards in September, as well as Sofia Vergara for the same event in addition to The Met Gala. Considering all three of those actresses were listed in Zoe's profile in The Hollywood Reporter's "Top 25 Stylists" list of 2015, Lincoln and Johnson have made out with some of their former boss's best clients.
