It's been eight whole months since Derek Zoolander and Hansel (aka Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson) blew our minds by walking the runway at the Valentino fall 2015 show, jointly announcing that a "Zoolander 2" movie was in the works. On Wednesday, the first trailer for the sequel arrived, and it's as fantastic as we'd hoped.
Here's what we know from the short clip. Zoolander, once the world's most famous male model and the creator of the "Blue Steel," has reached the point in his career where he's considered, well, too old. The fashion world has evolved around him (androgynous models are all the rage), but just as he's ready to give up, he and Hansel are approached by Interpol Agent Penelope Cruz with a crucial mission: save the world's most beautiful people — like Justin Bieber — from being brutally murdered one by one. In an interesting twist, each victim died with Zoolander's signature look on their faces.
With his team in tow, Zoolander must infiltrate the world of high fashion to save the day from — you guessed it! — Will Ferrell's Mugatu. The clip features cameos from the likes of Kristen Wiig, Benedict Cumberbatch, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, and we're willing to bet that plenty of fashion people will make surprise appearances when the film is released on Feb. 12.
Watch the trailer in full above, and we can assure you that this is not a movie for ants — the film has to be at least three times longer than this.
