It's undeniable that Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson of "Broad City" completely dominated the pop culture world this year. The second season of their Comedy Central show, which debuted back in January, captivated audiences more and more with each passing episode, and had sites like this one analyzing every single one of the duo's ridiculous outfit choices.
While Glazer and Jacobson's unique senses of style help to shape their on-screen personas and are a huge part of what makes "Broad City" so damn funny, they've yet to be immortalized with a high-fashion cover story — until now. The ladies star in Flare's February 2016 "Love & Sex" issue, which debuted on the Canadian magazine's website on Monday. Decked out in a mix of Erdem, Topshop, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs and Burberry, they look anything but prim, with their personalities out in full force.
Glazer and Jacobson are also known for their physical humor, including appearing on screen in various states of undress (usually in mortifying situations). Both women are clearly comfortable in their own skin, and they address the ever-important issue of body confidence in the accompanying interview. "I think we both have these bodies that, because you just see such thin people represented all the time, when you have any tits, any ass, it's like va-va-voom," Glazer told Flare. "I am very sensitive about my boobs; I was literally nine when I got them, and for so many years, before I got to enjoy my body, it was for other people's evaluation. To enjoy your body on a comedy level is a whole other level of pleasure. Boob humour: it's like, this is not for you — it's for me.”
