Is Brooklyn Beckham making the crossover from celebrity offspring-turned-"model" to celebrity offspring-turned-model-turned-photographer? Maybe. On Friday, Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest child of David and Victoria, announced via Twitter that he will be shooting a campaign for the Burberry Brit fragrance this Saturday, and that Burberry will be documenting the process live on its Instagram and Snapchat accounts. A Burberry representative confirmed to Fashionista that 16-year-old Beckham, who's previously stated his interest in photography and film, has indeed been tapped as the brand's newest photographer.
While the announcement comes as a bit of surprise, it's not the first time the Beckham family has worked with the British label. Romeo Beckham has already starred in three Burberry advertisements, most recently its "Billy Elliott"-themed 2015 holiday campaign. While the eldest Beckham has yet to star in a Burberry campaign of his own, he was recently spotted sitting front row at Burberry's fall 2016 menswear show. And he's not unfamiliar with photo shoots, with an ad campaign and several magazine shoots under his belt — as a model, that is. Will his skills behind the camera live up to his proven talent in front of it? We'll soon find out.
