Maybe it's the new year, or maybe it was this particular event, but the usually stoic Kristen Stewart looked quite happy at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards at Tao Downtown in New York on Monday night. And by happy, we mean, like, really happy. Just look at that smile! Who is she thinking of? What is she looking at?
Stewart received the award for best supporting actress in the French film "Clouds of Sils Maria," and when presented the honor by her "Still Alice" co-star Julianne Moore, Stewart remarked: "I've received a lot of MTV [Movie Awards] Popcorns and stuff like that, but this is a little different." Moving onto the topic of her outfit, Stewart — who recently made her debut as Coco Chanel in a Karl Lagerfeld-directed short film — opted for a two-piece black and lace ensemble from (you guessed it) Chanel. Combined with slicked hair and minimal, black shoes, the actress achieved just the right amount of femininity and toughness (with a little bit of help from stylist Tara Swennen, of course).
And now, we leave you with one last image of Stewart. Smiling.
