The majority of my winter wardrobe, at least that which is visible to people out in the world, is entirely devoid of color: My shoes, tights, pants, coats, hats and scarves all fall along the black/grey/navy color spectrum. Last winter, I wore the same light gray wool scarf almost every single day, and while I like the way it looks, I grew increasingly bored with my colorless aesthetic with each cold, passing day.
So, I've decided to spice up my neck area this year with this soft pink cashmere ribbed scarf. It nicely complements all my navy coats and I hope its cheery hue will help avert any seasonal affective disorder symptoms as we head into deep winter. Also, I think it's one of Pantone's colors of the year so hopefully that means I'm relevant.
