When Self-Portrait announced its plans to launch a bridal collection, the Fashionista office made sure to make a mental note should the opportunity for wedding dress shopping arise. We're still waiting for someone to pop the question, but those in search of a not-so-traditional — but so-very-stylish — wedding dress are in luck. Bergdorf Goodman, the exclusive retailer in the U.S. for the London label's debut bridalwear, already has the six dresses available online for preorder. The collection, which costs between $1,020 and $1,550, is officially available in March and will be offered in-store at Bergdorf's 5F section.

Designer Han Chong quickly garnered attention (and orders) from Bergdorf and Net-a-Porter when he founded Self-Portrait in 2013. Since then, his detailed, feminine pieces with accessible price points have become a red carpet and celebrity favorite. For his bridal gowns, Chong was inspired by the unconventional dress choices of Bianca Jagger and Pattie Boyd for their own wedding days. While the collection is quintessentially Self-Portrait with its guipure lace, Victorian-inspired and off-the-shoulder necklines, it still possesses traditional wedding dress characteristics, such as the use of silk and organza in a white-and-cream color palette.
