Because one of my best purchases of 2015 came from Cos, I've made a mental note to peruse the H&M sister store's new arrivals whenever I can (remember). I recently tried on this shirtdress and it's at the top of my wish list to wear once the weather is bare-legs appropriate.
My dresses almost always need alterations to fit my short frame, but this one's long length is just right. I like the slight V-neck for its baseball jersey vibes but also for layering and showing off tops like the turtleneck you see above. The bottom has a nice, flowy drape to it and there are buttons along the front so you can wear it over an outfit like a cardigan or duster coat. Plus, it has pockets, which is always a win.
I see myself layering it over a T-shirt paired with Nike sneakers for a sporty look. Or I can wear it solo with a pair of ankle boots or sandals. It could play as a dressy swimsuit cover-up, too. Maybe I can even pull it off with a collared shirt underneath and teamed with loafers for the ultimate polished ensemble. The options are endless, so can spring please get here?
