Keds celebrates centennial with Allison Williams
Wednesday night, Keds kicked off its centennial celebration with Allison Williams and a live performance by Ciara, both members of the "Keds Collective," a group of female brand ambassadors. Williams, who conceptualized and starred in two short films for the brand, told Fashionista that she wanted to create a "three-dimensional" individual who was "powerful and interesting without being overtly either one." The videos were shot the day after she got back from her honeymoon, over the course of two days. Moving to the subject of "Girls," Williams said the metallic gold plastic dress from season 2 was both her favorite and least favorite outfit — it was cool, but uncomfortable because it was literally hot on set.
