While we've heard (anecdotally) that New York Fashion Week: Men's second season felt more like a trade show than originally intended, it didn't damper the fashion outside the venues. Editors, stylists, models and "influencers" brought their menswear A-game in the form of outerwear layers, Chelsea boots, fresh sneakers, leather totes, statement sunglasses and even nose rings. We particularly appreciated the many belted, robe-like styles and trenches that stood out from the sea of camel coats. No offense to camel coats — they look fantastic — but a cinched waist is a truly cozy and flattering outerwear look.
