Though it may seem like Kanye West considers himself to be a fashion industry deity, there are certain designers that he's continually expressed true respect and appreciation for, and that he hopes to emulate when it comes to the quality and international prestige of their brands. At the very top of this list is Ralph Lauren, who West has repeatedly studied and praised (he told Style.com, "Ralph is the god. And that's all I want to say about Ralph"). And upon meeting him at Fashion Week last year, West truly looked like he was overcome with glee. He's even called Lauren his "daddy."
So, it is only fitting that Lauren is one of the first of his fashion friends to send his infant son, Saint West, a custom piece of designer clothing. Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to share a photo of a vintage-looking, leather aviator-style jacket — complete with a retro patch — that Lauren sent to the family recently, writing "we will cherish it forever." Does this mean that the littlest West will be making his debut in the front row sometime this week, perhaps at his dad's Yeezy Season 3 show on Thursday? While we have mixed feelings on children attending fashion shows, we'll admit, there isn't a more adorable way to make your debut than in a jacket like this. Either way, here's hoping Saint's first words are, "it's Ralph, though."
