For the first time in the 52-year, bikini-clad history of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, three cover stars front the 2016 edition on three separate covers: Hailey Clauson, Ashley Graham and Ronda Rousey. As announced on a TBS special late on Saturday night, the trio represents what the magazine calls the "new SI Swimsuit."

"All three women are beautiful, sexy and strong," said Assistant Managing Editor MJ Day. "Beauty is not cookie cutter. Beauty is not 'one size fits all.' Beauty is all around us, and that became especially obvious to me while shooting and editing this year's issue."

If there's one cover star having a standout season, it's Graham — recently named a Swimsuit Issue rookie — who will be just the second plus-size model the magazine has ever featured. "This is for all the women who didn't think they were beautiful because of their size," said Graham moments after her cover was revealed. "This is for them."

The 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue hits newsstands this Monday, Feb. 15.
