Gucci Won the Most Spring Magazine Covers

Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and Chanel also racked up a solid amount of credits between January and March.

If September is the January of fashion, then March (typically the biggest issue of the first half of the year) is the July — in that it's a kind of final project for magazines before jetting off for vacation. Except instead of vacation, it's off to the fall shows for the editors and stylists who've spent months closing their big spring issues. And to no one's surprise, Gucci dominated the covers — appearing on five January and February issues (which also feature spring fashion) and five March issues. Everybody from Harper's Bazaar to i-D has caught Gucci fever, and it's probably safe to say the obsession isn't going away anytime soon.

Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein and Louis Vuitton had strong presences in the first three months of the year, too. The latter has Alicia Vikander's awards season buzz to thank, as her contract with the brand appears to extend to editorial shoots, which is pretty intense. Kate Hudson (promoting... "Kung Fu Panda 3?"), Brie Larson ("Room"), Rooney Mara ("Carol"), Viola Davis ("How to Get Away with Murder") and Gigi Hadid (#Instagirl, etc.) have also nabbed quite a few covers already this year.
