Brie Larson Won the Day Both on Land and in the Sky

She definitely did not have a case of the Mondays. (Heh.)

Now, therefore, we, Fashionista, online purveyors of fashion and folly, do hereby proclaim March 21, 2016 as Brie Larson Looks F*cking Fantastic Day. (No disrespect to whatever other official days also coincide with this momentous occasion.) You'd think the Oscar-winning actress would take the pedal off the metal both in glamour and energy after crushing awards season, but no. Today in Japan she won our hearts again with not one, but two A+ looks.

Let's start with the main event and work backwards, shall we? At a Tokyo premiere of "Room," Larson and stylist Cristina Ehrlich opted for a romantic fall 1016 Rodarte gown with a complex combination of textures and fabrics (lace, floral embroidery, ruffles, etc) that would drown a less confident dresser. Paired with Roger Vivier sandals and a sleek chignon, the look is knockout from head to toe. And don't even get us started on Jacob Tremblay's sleek red suit. Is there anything he can't pull off?

But that's not all the sartorial goodness Larson served up fresh and hot in Japan. Upon arriving earlier at Haneda Airport, the actress repped Gucci in a floral embroidered bomber (perhaps picked up when the brand designed her custom Oscar gown?). Paired with Chelsea boots, Simon Miller high-waisted jeans and the shiniest face imaginable, Larson struck the perfect balance between practicality and glamour. This is the ideal travel look. Definitively. Case closed.
