At Givenchy's fall 2016 runway show on Sunday, the stars of the front row turned out in their boudoir best — which is to say, a host of silky, slouchy, lacy looks from the brand's spring collection. Julia Restoin Roitfeld and Karen Elson wore black and white slip dresses, respectively; Ciara looked steamier than ever in trousers topped with a robe jacket and sheer lace underneath. To me, though, the MVP of the night was the Chinese pop star and actress Li Yuchun, who also goes by the name Chris Lee. In a striped jumpsuit and oversized blazer of the same fabric paired with clean white sneakers, her take on Givenchy was at once sexy, boyish, minimalist and, I don't know, work appropriate? Yeah!
For its ability to hit all those descriptors evenly and still look singular, Li's outfit is what cool girl daily uniforms are made of. Bury me in Givenchy, y'all, because this is what I want to wear until the end of time.
