News flash: Fashion Month is the busiest time of the year for us at Fashionista, and one of the first real-life luxuries that goes out of the window during the four and change weeks of shows across multiple time zones is sleep. As a very fair-skinned human, my lack of rest is always written across my face in the form of dark circles under my eyes, but when you're dashing around among the likes of Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfeld, et al., it's important to look and feel your best. Despite what the goth-leaning runway beauty trends might imply, a zombie-like appearance is not chic. Luckily, I found an impressive, long-lasting remedy that I'd like to share.
Cheryl has sung the praises of K-beauty for years, and I finally purchased some cosmetics from Club Clio a week or so before my trip to Milan. This brush-on concealer is honestly the most effective I've tried in years — it even out-performs designer versions that cost double or triple the price. It has a brightening effect, making my eyes look more open and my skin more dewy. Plus, it lasted through entire days of show-hopping without creasing or crumbling — and without needing another application. Hopefully I'll be able to catch some Zs this weekend, but if not, I still have plenty of this stuff left to help me fake it until Paris Fashion Week is over and we can finally log off.
Clio "Kill Cover" brush concealer, $23, available at Club Clio.
