This week, floor-length blue and red gowns were oddly dominant on the red carpet. On Tuesday, Elizabeth Olsen wore a flowing, flouncy red gown by Emilio Pucci (a label we wouldn't normally associate with the actress) to the premiere of "I Saw the Light," in which she plays the role of Hank Williams's first wife, Audrey.

Later that week, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actress-slash-professional badass Gal Gadot wore a velvet, punchy red Prada gown — custom, of course — at the European premiere of the movie; co-star Amy Adams donned a simple, but striking Antonio Berardi blue gown for the same event. Oscar-winner Brie Larson also had a busy week promoting "Room" in Japan with her adorable pint-sized co-star Jacob Tremblay. While Larson looked pretty stellar whilst clad in both Valentino and Rodarte, our eyes were on Tremblay, who chose to wear a red suit to one of the press conferences.
