Top creative PR & marketing firm, Kenwerks is seeking a full-time Entertainment Marketing Coordinator for the company’s VIP division in Los Angeles. Reporting directly to the Director of VIP Relations/Digital Marketing, this role interacts with our team and clients to support their respective objectives while ensuring top tier communications with leading fashion influencers, celebrities, west coast news websites, and TV outlets. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for the VIP arena and entertainment industry in Hollywood, general familiarity with the contemporary, fast-fashion, fitness, jewelry, and accessories markets. Ability to maintain VIP relationships with proven record of influencer and celebrity product placement. We expect a true love for the fashion industry, combined with business savvy and a knack for developing creative partnerships and promotions with top tier influencers.
Work hand in hand with Director of VIP Relations to assist in all celebrity and influencer initiatives. Manage and update entertainment marketing and blogger relations calendars on a 6 month basis. Execute creation of blogger target lists and maintain professional relationships with top tier influencers. Execute and oversee recruitment of publishers to client affiliate programs. Assist in all VIP and blogger seeding initiatives with VIP Director. Assist in talent wrangling for events and special collaborations. Assist on strategic celebrity product placement campaigns. Database management – manage and cultivate blogger and influencer database including but not limited to influencer/celebrity seeding, stylists/costume designers, fashion bloggers. Assist stylists with showroom pulls. Assist in tracking of sample loans and resulting placements. Produce and publish mass communications with west coast media as needed. Assist with planning and execution of multiple client social media accounts. Assist senior management team as needed.
Must live in Los Angeles, CA. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent preferred. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the principles of advertising, marketing and digital media. 1+ years experience at top level PR firm. Well versed in PR metrics. Experience assisting in influencer partnerships. Strategic thinker willing to push the envelope and bring fresh, innovative ideas. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Fashion GPS strongly preferred. Well organized and ability to assist across multiple projects for multiple clients (agency experience desired). Candidates with an existing fashion blog and/or strong social media presence preferred.
COMPENSATION: Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
