Michelle Obama attended the Cuban State Dinner on Monday evening hosted by President Raul Castro, and the First Lady chose a Naeem Khan dress from the designer's pre-fall 2016 collection for the occasion. Much like her arrival outfit by Carolina Herrera, the long-sleeved piece has a floral motif — a theme she seems to be running with during this historic visit to Cuba. Khan's all-over print surely makes a multicolored statement, so Obama opted for simple accents, including a pair of black pumps and red drop earrings.

Although Mrs. Obama is a regular wearer of the Indian-American designer's creations — as are her daughters Malia and Sasha, who both wore Naeem Khan to the White House State Dinner earlier in March — she has yet to wear a Cuban-American designer during her three-day trip. With only one day left of plans before the President continues his journey through Latin America (a speech by Mr. Obama and an exhibition baseball game are on Tuesday's itinerary), the chances of FLOTUS wearing the likes of Narciso RodriguezIsabel Toledo or Proenza Schouler (Lazaro Hernandez is of Cuban descent) look slim.
