Here Are the Models Who Won the Spring 2016 Campaign Season
These days, it can be tough to keep track of all that's going on, seasonally, in the fashion industry. While the fall 2016 ready-to-wear runway shows just wrapped up in Paris, January's spring 2016 couture season remains at top of mind. What about pre-fall? And resort? And men's week? And that's not to mention the spring 2016 ad campaigns, either, which gradually began rolling out in December.
While campaign season may not revolve around a physical catwalk or an experience-based presentation, its tenets — from model casting to styling and everything in between — remain the same. Just as some models may rule the runway (Lineisy Montero, Harleth Kuusik, Vanessa Moody), others truly dominate on billboards and in the ad pages of magazines. Others, like Dutch beauty Maartje Verhoef, do both. But as far as models who won the current spring 2016 campaign season, resident bad-girl and Fashionista favorite Lexi Boling came out on top, landing 11 spreads. Other notables were Karlie Kloss and Mariacarla Boscono, both with seven — the former of whom dominated with the high-paying commercial brands.
