Ahead of the fall 2016 Vetements presentation on Thursday, the brand's fans hit streets of Paris during the first two days of fashion week repping its recognizable high-waisted, patchwork-butt jeans — the ones with a $1,395 price tag. This isn't a new phenomenon: during the spring 2016 shows, a certain floral dress and these jeans popped up again and again; and recently, a "Titantic" shirt has proved ubiquitous and was reinforced by Leonardo DiCaprio's successful awards season.

Styling the jeans in question with black pointed boots and bomber jackets seems to be the current consensus. Aside from the omnipresent denim, jeather jackets, rain coats and polka dots were common themes on Tuesday and Wednesday.
