ShopBAZAAR is seeking a talented individual with a background in fashion and luxury e-commerce to bring exceptional personal shopping and sales skills to the our team. 

The Personal Stylist is sales focused, and will build a compelling value proposition to strengthen our relationships with customers and drive their loyalty and lifetime value. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the BAZAAR leadership team to develop and implement strategies, which exceed our customer’s expectations, provide the absolute best shopping experience – while growing the future of the company. 

The ideal candidate must have a flexible schedule, and have the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays, if necessary and based on busy periods. 

Role Priorities  

  • Drive and grow customer retention 
  • Maximize customer lifetime value 

  Customer Relationship Management: 

  • Profile customers individually based on their shopping pattern, both manually and using Buyergenomics 
  • Using these profiles, provide personal recommendations by applying your styling skills and trends knowledge 
  • Ensure all customers receive the same level of attention 
  • Wherever possible, initiate face to face contact with your customers 
  • Ensure prompt follow up with purchasing customers 
  • Develop a customer feedback program, track results and provide insight to marketing, merchandising and customer experience departments 
  • Communicate directly with VIP customer base to increase sales and build lasting relationship 
  • Partner with Merchandising Director and Web Production teams to provide top tier customer behavioral insights and develop elite VIP programs for top customers 

Sales: 

  • Achieve yearly sales targets 
  • Ensure that sales leads are identified and prioritized by analyzing customer list 
  • Increase spend of individuals and develop customer loyalty through by understanding their needs and up-selling (whenever possible) 
  • Organize styling appointments with BAZAAR editors and retail partners/buyers 
  • Implement new/creative selling ideas  
  • Design, implement and launch a tiered spend-based loyalty program across all channels 
  • Be nimble and proactive in sourcing product if a VIP shopper wants something that has sold out 

Maintenance of Product and Business awareness: 

  • Be knowledgeable of the BAZAAR editorial voice, credits and trends featured in each issue 
  • Be fashion focused and stay updated with seasonal trends/products 
  • Distinct knowledge of our designer list, and sales trends 
  • Build strong relationships with our retail partners to provide prompt service to customers 
  • Feedback any buying patterns to Merchandising team 
  • Be aware of general level of competitor awareness 

Essential Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Experience in CRM role (knowledge of channels, platforms, relevant KPIs etc.) 
  • Previous experience in a luxury/fashion e-commerce environment and/or in-store 
  • Skilled in using email platforms, CRM tools  
  • Strong Excel and data query skills 
  • Understanding of data protection regulations 
  • Must have bachelor level degree 
  • Exceptional analytical skills and an ability to convey results/insights 
  • Perfect spoken and written English 
  • Confident and proactive, with excellent communication skills 
  • Customer centric: proven ability to build relationships with customers 
  • Keen project management skills and an ability to work cross-functionally or with third parties to deliver results 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Results oriented and commercially savvy, deadline focused 
  • Highly motivated self-starter
