Fresh off the announcement of Calvin Klein's restructure, in which all sub-labels will be consolidated into "one creative vision," Calvin Klein Jeans released a limited edition capsule collection on Wednesday. The new range consists of casual pieces — cropped tops, crewneck T-shirts, sweatshirts and track pants and shorts — made from comfy white knits that sport the brand's iconic "cK" logo. The campaign was produced by its in-house ad agency and creative studio and continues its streak of hiring social media superstars as faces for the brand.
While model Stella Lucia boasts her own hefty following on Instagram, it's Dallas who's the real Internet sensation. And if you're not familiar with the 21-year-old, check out his Vine, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, this thing on Vogue.com, his Snapchat (@CameronDallas) and hey, while we're at it, a Tumblr fan page, too. But Dallas's relationship with the American brand runs deep — at least in the online world. In 2011, he tweeted that he wanted to be a Calvin Klein model and five years later, he was sitting front row at former menswear creative director Italo Zucchelli's Milan Fashion Week show.
"It's a dream come true to actually be in one of their campaigns," said Dallas in a press release. "I've always been a huge fan of the brand, and these pieces fit perfectly with my everyday style."
Moral of the story: If you tweet it, they will come.
