On Saturday evening, our favorite Instagirls — Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne — hit the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles. In their typical fashion, they didn't shy away from statement making ensembles: Jenner, styled by Monica Rose, chose a lacy black dress by Kristian Aadnevik; current Versace face Hadid wore a sexy, pinstriped suit by the Italian label and debuted some new (possibly fake) bangs; and "Suicide Squad" star Delevingne opted for a skintight, futuristic Balmain jumpsuit.

The most memorable accessories of the night were easily Jenner's thigh-high, lace-up DSquared2 shoes, which not only looked wildly uncomfortable, but also proved to be a real bitch to get in and out of. She and Hadid documented the footwear follies on Snapchat, giving fans a glimpse at the effort that went into achieving the evening's #aesthetic.

Jenner even had a minor mishap with the laces while walking down the carpet, but considering this sort of thing is her actual job, she handled it like a pro.

Delevingne may have opted for more practical shoes on the red carpet — simple, black pointed-toe pumps by Jimmy Choo — but that doesn't mean she's immune to the pain of standing in heels for long periods of time. Hadid caught her in a candid moment on Snapchat, revealing that she'd somehow switched into a pair of furry flip-flops, which we secretly hope she has in her handbag at all times. Supermodels, they're just like us!
