Assistant Account Executive Job Description:
ADMINISTRATION:
- Prepare weekly, monthly activity reports
- Create, manage and maintain clips for clients and internal purposes
- Traffic and maintain samples/products, look books, press releases and inventory seasonal collections
- Maintain media-ready showroom
- Proficiency in time management

- Draft press materials (press releases, media alerts, pitch letters, bios, etc.)
- Prepare press kits
- Be able to research and create media lists
- Keep database up-to-date regularly
- Begin to understand strategy behind target media for each client
- Establish online and regional media contacts
- Build relationships with members of appropriate target media
PR PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
- Participate in brainstorms
- Add creative input and generate ideas for PR plans
- Become aware of leading industry influencers
