Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have designed a capsule collection inspired by none other than Wonder Woman. The collection – Wonder Woman Valentino — "pays tribute to all women" and, much like its pre-fall 2016 collection, features a whimsical explosion of patterns, colors and silhouettes. Rather than taking the theme too literally, however, the designers referenced the DC Comics superhero mainly through the use of star-motifs, printed on everything from camo jackets to dresses. (Star studs also replace rockstuds on heels.)

To celebrate the collection, Valentino will host a live performance by Italian street artist, Solo, who will paint a mural at the brand's Fifth Avenue New York flagship store from this Wednesday to Friday, April 22nd as the last of his three performance stops. (Solo has already painted murals at the flagships in Rome and Milan earlier this month.) Like all the others, the Fifth Avenue mural will be unique to its location.
